CAT’s new Go Pass will replace all Regular and Reduced-Fare bus passes. Please use up all balances and stop by a transfer station to trade in your smart card for a new Go Pass before June 30, 2026.

Along with a new Go Pass, CAT has added additional features to make riding with CAT easy. Passengers are now able to set up accounts to have Account Based Ticketing, where funds can be directly loaded into your account from your mobile device or funds can be loaded at a participating Vanilla-Direct retailer, making it simple to then buy bus passes with the loaded funds. If you are a frequent rider, once funds are loaded into your account, use those funds to purchase a bus pass for the most affordable way to ride CAT. Then simply tap the QR code from your mobile device or your Go Pass smart card to the validator as you board the bus. It’s as simple as Tap and Go!

To find a Vanilla Direct retailer to load funds onto your Go Pass, visit https://pay.vanilladirect.com/pages/retailers and then type in your zip code. Vanilla-Direct retailers include Dollar General, Family Dollar, 7-11, CVS, Walmart and Walgreens, to name a few.
