Smart Cards, Tickets and Cash Accepted

Collier Area Transit has Electronic Fareboxes on all its buses which accept reloadable Smart Cards, paper transfer tickets as well as cash. Smart cards are used when purchasing multiple rides (Marco Express; 15-Day or 30-Day passes).

Passes may be purchased using the rideCAT app, online or at the Intermodal Transfer Station on the Collier County Government Complex at 3355 East Tamiami Trail or at the CAT Facility on 8300 Radio Road.

1 Reduced Fares are for members of Medicare, Disabled Community, those 65 years and older, children 17 and under, high school and college students and active / retire military personnel. ID required. This fare would also apply to the subcontracted transportation provider with the Florida Commission for the Transportation Disadvantaged that provides transportation services under the non-emergency transportation Medicaid Contract for Collier County.

2 Discount Passes are for persons eligible under the identified programs.

Terms and Conditions:
1. Cards are only valid at Collier Area Transit. 2. Non-Transfereable/Non-Refundable. 3. No refund issued for loss, damaged or stolen cards. 4. If defaced or improperly used, the card will be confiscated by CAT. 5. Buy, Use and Reload/See cashier/receptionist for details.
6. The card has no cash value and is valid for the number of rides purchased.
