Starting October 1, 2026, Collier Area Transit is transitioning all CAT transportation services to our new operating partner, WeDriveU. You can expect a smooth, uninterrupted transition with many of the CAT staff you’ve come to know and new faces eager to help you get to and from your destinations safely and efficiently. For our paratransit riders, one important change will take place regarding reservations fulfilled by WeDriveU subcontractor, UZURV, during peak demand periods. Here are some helpful things to know: ● UZURV’s credentialed drivers offer the same safe, professional service you enjoy from CAT today. ● UZURV-supported rides will have a slightly different look and feel in vehicles that are not your regular CAT vehicle. They vary by make, model, size and configuration and can be identified by the rideCATConnect logo on the side door and/or window of the vehicle. On Monday, June 1, 2026, we upgraded our fare system to add benefits for our passengers. Due to this upgrade, all regular and reduced-fare smart cards will need to be exchanged for a new "Go Pass." If purchasing a smart card Go Pass for the first time, there will be a $3 activation set-up fee. The reloadable Go Pass will be used for all Regular and Reduced-fare bus passes. Or, a Go Pass can be purchased through the Transit app, and there will be no activiation fee for Go Passes purchased digitally.
Starting on Monday, May 18, 2026, Route 12 will run an additional loop at the end of the day, from 6:05pm to 7:42pm.
